This shirt depicts the actual microscope slides of amphibolite that I used to identify minerals and metamorphic textures for my masters thesis on the deformation history of the Greenbushes Pegmatite. With the slides I'd take upwards of 80 photos each using a microscope and then stitch them together in a software to create high resolution pictures of the complete slide.

Shirt is of a slight cropped fit sitting at or just below the hips, I like to wear mine to the beach with my Amphibolite Beachshorts and sandals, or on a night out with a pair of white or cream linen pants and green shoes.

Care Guide

- Cold machine wash with like colours

- Do not tumble dry

- Line dry in shade

- No bleach

- you can iron the shirt fabric but DO NOT iron the microscope slide decals or you'll smear them, steam is ok <3 if you make quick passes.

Delivery and Returns

Standard shipping is free on all Australian orders. I aim to dispatch at orders within 2-4 business days.

I love all things Geology, but if it’s not quite right, I offer refunds or exchanges within 30 days of delivery. Items must be in original condition, unworn, unwashed, and with all tags attached.

Please note, return postage is not covered. Returns due to change of mind or dissatisfaction are at the customer’s expense.

The beachwear uses sustainable, high-quality Vita PL by Carvico: eco-sustainable polyester techno-fabric with high technical performance.

Made with 100% regenerated polyester thread from pre and post-consumer waste, it is the front runner for sustainable fashion practices.

The other pieces are 100% cotton
