Based on amphibolite found in Western Australia's Margaret River, the Amphibolite Beachshort is a one of a kind (unless you find someone else on the beach wearing it) swim short under plane polarised light exhibiting metamorphic textures such as foliation and rotated porphyroblasts under 40x magnification. This amphibolite contains hornblende, plagioclase feldspar, and mica.

Made of 100% stretch microfibre that is quick drying, soft and smooth, and colour-fast under UV ensuring lifelong use. No inner mesh (yuck)

Sizing

Joey 6 foot 3 inches, 85 kgs, wears a size large.

For waist measurement, it is standard true-to-size. So if you're a size 32 jean you'll be a size 32 in Beachwear by Geology

Note: the elastic band has about 6 cm of stretch so go up or down a size depending on your preference for tightness.

The inseam has been changed per size to accomodate for longer and shorter leg lengths to keep the beachshorts above the knee! Have a look at the inseam lengths per size below.

Delivery and Returns

Standard shipping is free on all Australian orders. I aim to dispatch at orders within 2-4 business days.

I love all things Geology, but if it’s not quite right, I offer refunds or exchanges within 30 days of delivery. Items must be in original condition, unworn, unwashed, and with all tags attached.

Please note, return postage is not covered. Returns due to change of mind or dissatisfaction are at the customer’s expense.

The beachwear uses sustainable, high-quality Vita PL by Carvico: eco-sustainable polyester techno-fabric with high technical performance.

Made with 100% regenerated polyester thread from pre and post-consumer waste, it is the front runner for sustainable fashion practices.

The other pieces are 100% cotton
